West Runton Beach, Norfolk

Whilst on Holiday in Norfolk, we organised a Cockapoo walk at West Runton Beach. We’d never been before, but it was recommended by a lady who lived locally. We loved it so much that I felt I should share it with you!

Car parking was £3 for the day. There was a cafe & a shop selling all the beach essentials that you’d need. The food from the cafe was affordable and tasty. Just down from the cafe was a block of public toilets.

You follow a steep ramp down to the beach, the part of the beach directly at the bottom of the ramp isn’t dog friendly, however you can walk either 25 meters either to the left or right, and from then on dogs are welcome to roam off the lead. Here are some of the photos of the dogs causing chaos:

It was a great little beach & perhaps not that well known to tourists. The sand was white but easy to walk on. You didn’t have to far out to get to the sea either, so the dogs were happily jumping in and out as they pleased.

Thanks for reading!
