Cosy Club, York

We made a very impromptu trip to Cosy Club York at the weekend, and we had such a great time we thought you’d like to read about it.

Dogs are welcome to sit in the bar area & to be perfectly honest there isn’t that much of a different to the restaurant. The tables are lower but at the same time you get the comfort of a sofa to sit on.

We love the vintage theme inside. There’s something so welcoming about the old-time style. It’s almost as though it resembles the comfort, of say, your grandmas house. It very much doesn’t feel drab or dated though. The perfect balance.

Fish Finger Sandwich & Ploughman’s Toastie

We visited for lunch, so chose a light sandwich meal. The menu offered a large variety, including plenty of vegetarian options and a completely separate menu for vegans. The food was fresh, tasty and portion sizes were plentiful. For those who love their chips, I’d certainly recommend; the right balance of fluffiness & crispness.

Piper was made to feel very welcome. A number of staff members came over to say hello. There were even a couple of dog water bowls spotted about. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat with a chilled out, relaxed atmosphere, we’d definitely recommend bringing your 4 legged friend down to Cosy Club!

Thanks for reading!
