Such a cute little cafe! The vintage theme works really well & and although bijoux, the cafe was really welcoming. The staff were happy to help & the place was really busy, so a sign of good food!
There were a few dogs in when we visited, all very friendly & happy to say hello to Piper! We visited at lunchtime, so I opted to have the Quiche of the day- Cheese & Pepper, with a cloudy lemonade.
The portion size was generous & the quiche was really tasty. I wasn’t feeling a dessert, but the choice of cake & scones looked divine.
If you’re looking for a place to grab a bite to eat in Alnmouth, I’d certainly recommended The Village Tearooms. You’ll find it around half way down Northumberland Street. The perfect place to have a quintessentially British lunch, or even an afternoon tea if you’re feeling it!
