We celebrated the last day of 2018 in the best possible way (in the dogs eyes anyway). A long walk along the beach at Saltburn, followed by a pub lunch. Saltburn Beach is a lovely place to take the dogs for a walk. There are dog restrictions in the summer months though, so bare that in mind. Most of the local cafes & pubs are dog friendly, even the small amusement arcade welcomes 4 legged friends. Parking is cheap, too.
